WORKING SITE SUPERVISOR

We have a diverse scope of projects to provide variety, and you’ll be surrounded by a great team of people both in office and on site. Our construction projects are located across the Lower Mainland, from Vancouver and the North Shore, to Tri-Cities and Abbotsford.

As a family-based company, we’re looking for a dynamic individual who will complement our close-knit team. We also require a well-rounded team member who is passionate about project management, carpentry, creating, building, and interior/exterior spaces.
The ideal candidate has strong organizational skills; and the ability to work independently or as part of a team alongside our project manager, designers, and site team. You must own a vehicle and your own tools. You also have an interest in learning and growing within the business.
Position Overview
The Working Site Supervisor’s primary responsibilities include running the entire project from start to finish, working alongside our site carpenters and labourers to ensure project tasks are completed, while managing sub trades to ensure a high quality of workmanship.
Key qualities: Hard-working, organized, and punctual. You must work effectively alone, as well as on a team, in a fast-paced environment.
Requirements:
- 5–10 years of carpentry experience or equivalent education in carpentry is necessary
- Ownership of a reliable vehicle for transportation to projects
- Ownership of basic carpentry tools
- Knowledge or experience in framing and finish carpentry within the residential field is preferred
- Ability to read drawings and blueprints
- Interest in learning and growing within the business
- Must be currently living in Canada
Applicants will be responsible for:
- Managing projects from start to finish, reviewing design plans and project tasks with the project manager and the design team
- Collaborating with engineers, subcontractors, carpenters, and labourers to determine what the project requires
- Monitoring and reporting on project progress
- Working alongside the labourers and carpenters for each project
- Maintaining a clean job site
- Communicating with the client as to progress/delays/updates in professional & personable manner

EXPERIENCED CARPENTER
NOVERO Homes and Renovations is seeking an experienced carpenter to join our growing team. Our company specializes in major renovations – both commercial and residential – as well as new construction.
Position Overview
Reporting to the Site Supervisor, the Experienced Carpenter’s primary responsibilities include assisting the team with tasks for projects of all sizes.
The ideal candidate is hard working, organized, and punctual. As a tight-knit team, we’re looking for someone with honesty, integrity, and a team mindset. You’ll also bring an interest in learning and growing within the construction business.
A minimum of six years of carpentry experience or equivalent education in carpentry is necessary for this position. Knowledge or experience in framing and finish carpentry is preferred as you will be building custom decks and structures. You must also have the ability to read CAD drawings, building plans, and blueprints; and understand the process of managing a construction project.
This position requires owning a reliable vehicle, having a valid Canadian drivers license, owning basic carpentry tools.
You must be living in Canada. This is a position where you are working on the tools for large and small projects.
Applicants will be responsible for:
- Understanding and having experience in interior and exterior finishing
- Understanding how to fit and install doors, door frames, hardware; interior and exterior trim
